Thank you for choosing HOT Dog Walking services.

Please note your use and access of HOT Dog Walking services is conditional upon your acceptance and compliance with our Terms and Conditions stated in the Service Agreement below.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This Dog Walking Service and / or Pet Sitting Service and / or Pet Sitting overnight and / or Pet Taxi Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “Agreement”), by and between HOT Dog Walking (hereinafter referred to as ‘‘HDW”) and the Client. The Client agrees to the following:

PRIOR TO SERVICE

A Service Request form must be provided to HDW before service is provided for any period.

PRIVACY

All information provided by the Client is for HDW business purposes only. Related personal information which constitutes Clients’ privacy will be kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of HDW without Clients’ consent.

SERVICES

HDW will perform the services described below (the ‘Services’) in the care of the pet.

Acceptance of our service is based on the kind of animal and the pets’ level of aggression deemed by HDWHDW reserves the rights to deny any service should the pet be deemed too dangerous in any way shape or form by HDW.

For Group service (1 hour) it is a combination of on leash and off leash as deemed fit by HDW. Service will be priced at $35 or $40 (large breed or special care required) per pet and no more than 4 dogs will be walked at a given time by HDW. For ad hoc group walk request where clients do not have a fix regular group walk date scheduled the group walk will be priced at $45 per pet. 

For Puppy & Young teens service and depending on availability of puppies, service is a combination of on leash or off leash depending on the pets’ level of training deemed by HDW. Service will be priced at AU$37 per dog and no more than 4 puppies will be walked at a given time by HDW.

For Private Walks, service will take 35 minutes, with the option of the pet being on a leash or off leash depending on the pets’ level of aggression deemed by HDW. Service will be priced at AU$55 and only a single pet at a given time will be walked by HDW unless the pets are from the same property/premises.

We may move from park to park during the walk depending on the environment condition or the nature of the dogs present on the parks.

For Pet Visit/ Cat feeding service will be priced at $40 and will be conducted on the Clients’ property/premises. 

For Pet Sitting overnight, service will be priced at $90 and may be conducted at Client’s property/ premises or minder’s property/ premises. Check in time is according to HDW’s business hours & check out time is before 12:00 pm on the last day of pet sitting arrangement. Late fee applies $30 per hour. Client is responsible for food provision of their pets which is outside of our service fee. HDW will charge $25 per trip to cover petrol cost for purchase of pet’s food. 

For Pet Taxi, service will be priced at minimum $25 per trip for the sole purpose of transportation of animals excluding luggage such as food, litter, toys etc will incur additional fees. Pricing varies for all destinations in Sydney.

Additional dog from the same household will incur extra $30 per dog.

Additonal cat from the same household will incur extra $5 per cat.

Medication will incur additional fee of $3 per feed.

Service area other than Inner West Sydney will incur additional fee to cover for petrol cost.

GENERAL PROVISIONS 

HDW agrees to complete all work in a safe and professional manner, and in compliance with all applicable laws.

HDW only accepts well-behaved pets and reserves the right of a 6 months probation monitoring period for all pets under our care.HDW reserves the right to refuse services to dogs that show signs of illness and/or are taking medication for transmittable diseases.

The Client agrees to HDW posting photos of their pet(s) on search engines & social media sites.

The Client agrees there is no known behavioral / aggression problems displayed by their pet with other animals, toys, food, humans or any other factors. The Client is solely responsible for any harm or injury caused by their pet while under HDW’s care. Any loss and damage sustained by HDW shall be claimable pursuant to relevant rules.

The Client will provide a fitted collar or harness that the dog can not slip out of. 

The Client should ensure to maintain a good standard of hygene of their dog at all times for the group walks.

The Client should ensure their dog(s) wear a collar with tag bearing its owner’s name and telephone number during HDW walks. In the event where a park ranger issue a fine due to the said offence the client will be deemed liable for the fine issued.

The Client will inform the HDW if their pet requires medication, provide sufficient information, instructions and medicine while their pet is in the care of the HDW. HDW will charge $3 per animal per day for medication application.

The Client shall provide PROOF OF C5 VACCINATION/S for their dog, PROOF OF F3 VACCINATION/S for their cat and veterinarian details prior to the commencement of the services.

The Client agrees their pet(s) are updated with ongoing flea and tick prevention program, vaccinations and medications.

The Client acknowledges that HDW allows their pet(s) directly interact with other animals both on and off leash. The Client further agrees to waive all claims and releases HDW of all liability for any injury, illness, death, damages, and loss to their pet(s) and/or their property while in the care of HDW.

The Client agrees to be responsible for all expenses incurred for any harm or injury caused by their pet while in the care of HDW.

The Client is solely responsible for their pet’s safety when left at home.

The Client must inform HDW if there is CCTV/ live streaming recording at the Client’s home and the Client further agrees that it will be switched off whenever there is an in home pet care arrangement with HDW. 

The Client will provide instruction on the procedure to handle home alarm system during our first meet & greet. The Client further agrees to be responsible for associated cost in the event of triggered alarm during HDW’s care.

The Client is responsible for any loss, damage and the negligence of any kind to their home, property or pets where entry to premises is given to other parties or if the home is not properly secured during the service period.

HDW will not be liable for the safety of any pet(s) or held liable for the death, injury, disappearance, or legal consequences of any pet with unsupervised access to the outdoors.

The Client is responsible to ensure the house, balconies, yard and the security of fences/gates/latches are pet-proofed.

HDW generally collects keys from the client at our first meet & greet when our client has decided to use our service, however, should additional key arrangements be required for either pickup or return, our clients will incur a fee of AU$25.00. This includes subsequent meet & greet that may be requested by client after our first meet & greet for what ever purposes.

The Client is responsible for HDW’s access to the dog on the day. If for some reason where HDW is unable to gain access due to faulty locks, an unreasonable obstruction to the entrance and other factors other than cancellation within the stipulated period, the walk shall still be charged at the full rate.

HDW reserves the right to administer necessary aid and/or transport the pet to a vet should the client’s pet became ill. HDW will attempt to contact the pets own vet, but reserves the right to transport the pet to another if necessary. 

The Client is responsible for all related costs associated with any emergency visits to a vet. The client is responsible to arrange for direct debit facility on their account so that there is no out of pocket expenses to be paid by HDW upon emergency visits to the vet. The Client further agrees to pay the vet invoice within 7 days of the invoice being issued.

PAYMENT

The client shall provide proof of receipt and cleared funds at least 7 business days in advance prior to the commencement of dog walking service by HDW. All other services (except dog walking service) must be paid within 3 business days on the day of agreed future service dates.

Weekends bookings & after business hours service (excluding pet sitting overnight) request will incur an additional $20 service fee.

Public Holiday bookings including Saturday & Sunday and adjoining Saturday & Sunday of public holiday in NSW incur an additional 100% service fee. 

CANCELLATION and AMENDMENT

(i) Dog Walking service

For fees to be fully refunded- All cancellation & amendment of dates for walks must be cancelled /amend no later than 5 pm a day before the next service day or furnish HDW a Vet certificate certifying your dog is sick within 2 working days of cancellation/ amendment.

Cancellation/ amendment made after 5 pm shall incur a full forfeiture of payment made for the service so provided.

No refunds for deposit and/or payment made for services to be rendered on public holidays.

All fees must be paid 5 business days or ealier prior to the dog walking services.

(ii) All other services (except Dog Walking service)

Prior to Service Commencement – Client will incur a 50% cancellation fee (% applies to entire service period) where cancellation advised to HDW with less than 14 days notice prior to service commencement date. A standard fee of $30 shall apply for cancellation.

During Regular Service – Client will incur a 100% cancellation fee for balance of invoiced period where cancellation advised to HDW during service with less than 7 days notice

Early Returns- Client returning home early will not be eligible for any refund of the remaining days booked.

Unpaid Service- HDW reserve the right to cancel unpaid service without notice, including prior to or during the service period.

All fees (except Dog Walking services) must be paid on the same day upon the confirmation of service dates required by the client.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Once service is confirmed and payment is made after an emailed invoice is issued, it is deemed that the client has read and has accepted all terms and conditions in the Agreement for the service provided irrespective whether the Agreement is singularly signed.

This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New South Wales, Australia.

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Client and HDW and supersedes any prior understanding or representation of any kind preceding the date of this Agreement. The headings for the sections are for convenience only, and shall not affect the meaning of the provisions of this Agreement. There are no other promises, conditions, understandings or other agreements, whether oral or written, relating to the subject matter of this Agreement. 

HDW Terms and Conditions are subjected to changes from time to time. Therefore it is the client’s responsibility to check for any updates and amendments via our website.
